Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the management of teacher professionalism improvement in madrasahs at MIS Raudlatul Mustarsyidin Kuta Badung, Bali. Therefore, to answer this research objective, a qualitative approach with a case study was used. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with the madrasah principal, teachers, and education staff, observations of learning activities and professional development programs, and document analysis of madrasah work plans, supervision reports, and teacher evaluation results. Data analysis was conducted through a process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, emphasizing validity through source triangulation. The results indicate that the management of teacher professionalism improvement is carried out through four main stages: first, planning by identifying training needs and preparing an annual work program; second, organizing through a clear division of tasks and the formation of a development team; third, implementation through internal workshops, academic supervision, external training, and comparative studies; and fourth, periodic evaluation through monitoring learning and teacher performance reflection. This effort has a positive impact on improving teaching skills, professional motivation, and student learning outcomes. This study confirms that management practices at MIS Raudlatul Mustarsyidin are in line with the principles of quality-based education management, where the success of improving teacher professionalism is influenced by the visionary leadership of the madrasah principal, support from the madrasah environment, and external partnerships. However, limited funding and access to training remain obstacles that need to be overcome through continuous innovation and collaboration.
