This research discusses the efforts of the Head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 3 Aceh Jaya in improving Islamic education in rural areas. The main aim of this research is to explore the steps taken to improve the quality of education in an environment faced with various challenges. The main aim of the research is to explore the steps taken to improve the quality of education in an environment facing various challenges. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document review. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the strategies implemented include adapting the curriculum to suit local culture, developing teacher professionalism through training, and improving educational facilities. The impact of this strategy can be seen in the increase in the number of student registrants and more active community participation in educational activities at MTsN 3 Aceh Jaya. However, this research also identifies supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing this strategy. Community support and strong leadership are positive factors, while limited facilities and access to quality training are challenges faced. Overall, this research shows that with the right strategy, MTsN 3 Aceh Jaya strives to improve the quality of Islamic education in rural areas in a sustainable manner
