Abstract

Improving educational quality is strongly determined by the effectiveness of human resource management within educational institutions. This study aims to analyze human resource management as an effort to enhance educational quality at SMA Insan Kamil Bogor, with a focus on planning, development, performance appraisal, and its impact on educational quality. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and educational staff, as well as documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that SMA Insan Kamil Bogor implements planned and sustainable human resource management through teacher competency development, enforcement of work discipline, and the cultivation of Islamic values. Human resource development is carried out through various training programs and diniyah development activities integrated into the school culture. Performance appraisal and work discipline function as quality instruments that encourage professionalism and consistency among school personnel. These human resource management practices have a positive impact on improving educational quality in academic, non-academic, and student character development aspects. This study concludes that the integration of modern management principles and Islamic values in human resource management is an effective strategy for improving educational quality at SMA Insan Kamil Bogor.
